A diamond certificate (also known as a diamond grading report, diamond dossier, or diamond quality document) is a report generated by an independent gem laboratory delineating a diamond’s dimensions, clarity, color, weight, polish, and symmetry among other features. Gem laboratories use sophisticated equipment as well as expert gemologists to examine each stone and achieve an accurate final grade.

Diamond Atrium only sells diamonds that have been graded by either the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), or American Gem Society Laboratories (AGSL). These two institutions are the most recognized and respected laboratories in the world. They are known for their integrity and unbiased gemstone grading systems. Diamonds with certificates from these laboratories are the most highly prized in the industry.
